At Ferrel Surf House, we don't just put you in the water and hope for the best. We teach you how to surf, with a method built around progression, personal feedback and small groups.

Every morning we assess the conditions and choose the best surf spot for your group. Peniche's unique coastline offers endless options for all levels, we always find the perfect wave for the day.
Small groups, personal coaching
We cap every group at 5 students per instructor, because that's the only way to give every surfer the personal attention they need to actually progress, with an experienced coach by their side at all times.
Video analysis included
We film you, analyze your positioning, technique and timing together, so you understand exactly what to work on. This is what separates a surf holiday from real surf progression.
Surf skate teaching and training
We integrate surf skate training into our teaching method , a proven way to improve your surf movements, balance and timing on land, so you progress faster in the water.

Our group surf lessons are organized by surf level, so you always surf with people at the same stage as you. Max 5 students per instructor, personal feedback included, all surf equipment provided.
PRIVATE surf LESSONS
Want all the attention for yourself? A private surf lesson gives you one-on-one coaching in the water, tailored entirely to your technique and goals — including video analysis after every session.
SURF COACHING
You’re already an experienced surfer but want to work on detailed technique of your surf skills? We will bring you to the best spots and analyze your surf session.
